VoxaStream ("we", "us", or "our") provides real-time voice streaming infrastructure accessible at voxastream.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Account information — your email address and name provided when you sign up via our authentication provider (Clerk).
  • Usage data — minutes streamed, number of sessions, and active users, used solely for billing and quota tracking.
  • API keys — generated and stored in hashed form. We cannot recover your key after creation.
  • Technical logs — server logs including IP addresses and request metadata, retained for up to 30 days for debugging purposes.

3. Audio data

We do not record, store, or process the content of any voice or audio transmitted through our infrastructure. Audio streams pass through our servers in real time and are not persisted.

4. How we use your information

  • To operate and maintain your account and API access.
  • To calculate and enforce usage quotas.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing alerts).
  • To investigate security incidents and abuse.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the platform:

  • Clerk — authentication and user management.
  • Neon / PostgreSQL — database hosting for account and usage records.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Usage records may be kept in anonymised form for internal analytics.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.

8. Security

We use HTTPS for all data in transit. API keys are stored as hashed values. Access to production systems is restricted and logged. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

9. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website or by email. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
